Within 36 hours the PRG and American
Chronicle Open Letter to Senator Hillary
Clinton were at or near the top of both
the Google and Yahoo search results.

At that time the Google search returns
for the Open Letter to Senator Hillary
Clinton published by PRG were stripped
(or blocked) from the Google search
results. Fortunately, this did not
take place with the Yahoo search
results.

Efforts by PRG to reach Google to
determine why this had happened have
been fruitless.

Blocking the Google search engine from
listing the web pages which contain the
PRG Open Letter to Senator Hillary
Clinton is a pure act of political
censorship.

Given Google's behavior as regards its
presence in the People's Republic of
China - compliance with severe content
restrictions - this act of censorship
raises deeply serious questions.

First and foremost it raises the
question of what other pages containing
political speech not acceptable to
Google are being blocked from Google
search listings within the United
States?

PRG is seeking pro bono legal assistance
from 1st Amendment specialist attorneys
in order to open a dialogue with Google
to resove this matter.

weird phenomenon

Well...*draws deep breath...let me begin

Ive been seeing a sort of entity for ten years now...it is/was more lively at night and sometimes would be many different colours, and a sort of mass of energy that i could still see when closing my eyes...it used to "attack" me in a psychic manner; when i got scared during it's intrusions it would GLOW brighter, assume bestial, weird horrific faces and visages, with eyes and mouth yet more "evil" in appearence...
Now, I would see it begin as a GREEN sort of tear (like a rip) that would go in and out; being visible then not, at times when scared...I have gained a sort of mastery in that i dont see it or experience this much anymore, though at times trying to sleep or when ive run down physically in the past it has been annoying..
Tonight our cat died of a strange gasping; it was bad, but he died with us...I buried him in a towel and gave him some leaves of catnip- buried him out back in the "hall of animal companions", which is a sort of small pet cemetary....I struck into something and to my terror it was the skull of a good dog friend which broke in the middle...during this moment and after the feeling must have somehow triggered the green electric/energy phenomenon i have spoke of, it appearing as i said earlier; a sort of slash or rip or bolt of small green...this lasted several minutes, but i saw nothing more..
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA OR CONNECTION SOMEHOW TO THIS STRANGE PHENOMENON? Please, feel free to give any experiences or anything you might feel or think on this matter

On March 11 a new documentary was aired on French television. It is a documentary most Americans will never see, explaining how the gigantic biotech corporation Monsanto is threatening to destroy the agricultural biodiversity which has served mankind for thousands of years.

For millennia, farmers have saved seeds from season to season. But when Monsanto developed GM seeds that would resist its own herbicide, Roundup, Monsanto patented the seeds. For nearly all of its history the United States Patent and Trademark Office refused to grant patents on seeds, viewing them as life-forms with too many variables to be patented. But in 1980 the U.S. Supreme Court allowed for seed patents in a five-to-four decision, laying the groundwork for a handful of corporations to begin taking control of the world’s food supply.

Since the 1980s, Monsanto has become the world leader in genetic modification of seeds and has won 674 biotechnology patents, more than any other company. Farmers who buy Monsanto’s Roundup Ready seeds are required to sign an agreement promising not to save the seed produced after each harvest for re-planting, or to sell the seed to other farmers. This means that farmers must buy new seed every year.

Monsanto puts pressure on farmers, farmers’ co-ops, seed dealers, and anyone else it suspects may have infringed its patents of genetically modified seeds. To do this, Monsanto relies on a shadowy army of private investigators and agents. They secretly videotape and photograph farmers, store owners, and co-ops. They infiltrate community meetings. They gather information from informants about farming activities.

Some Monsanto agents pretend to be surveyors. Others confront farmers on their land and try to pressure them to sign papers giving Monsanto access to their private records. Farmers call them the “seed police” and use words such as “Gestapo” and “Mafia” to describe their tactics.

Gary Rinehart clearly remembers the summer day in 2002 when the stranger walked in and issued his threat. Rinehart was behind the counter of the Square Deal, his “old-time country store,” as he calls it, on the fading town square of Eagleville, Missouri, a tiny farm community 100 miles north of Kansas City.

The Square Deal is a fixture in Eagleville, a place where farmers and townspeople can go for lightbulbs, greeting cards, hunting gear, ice cream, aspirin, and dozens of other small items without having to drive to a big-box store in Bethany, the county seat, 15 miles down Interstate 35.

Everyone knows Rinehart, who was born and raised in the area and runs one of Eagleville’s few surviving businesses. The stranger came up to the counter and asked for him by name.

“Well, that’s me,” said Rinehart.

As Rinehart would recall, the man began verbally attacking him, saying he had proof that Rinehart had planted Monsanto’s genetically modified (G.M.) soybeans in violation of the company’s patent. Better come clean and settle with Monsanto, Rinehart says the man told him—or face the consequences.

Rinehart was incredulous, listening to the words as puzzled customers and employees looked on. Like many others in rural America, Rinehart knew of Monsanto’s fierce reputation for enforcing its patents and suing anyone who allegedly violated them. But Rinehart wasn’t a farmer. He wasn’t a seed dealer. He hadn’t planted any seeds or sold any seeds. He owned a small—a really small—country store in a town of 350 people. He was angry that somebody could just barge into the store and embarrass him in front of everyone. “It made me and my business look bad,” he says. Rinehart says he told the intruder, “You got the wrong guy.”

When the stranger persisted, Rinehart showed him the door. On the way out the man kept making threats. Rinehart says he can’t remember the exact words, but they were to the effect of: “Monsanto is big. You can’t win. We will get you. You will pay.”

Scenes like this are playing out in many parts of rural America these days as Monsanto goes after farmers, farmers’ co-ops, seed dealers—anyone it suspects may have infringed its patents of genetically modified seeds. As interviews and reams of court documents reveal, Monsanto relies on a shadowy army of private investigators and agents in the American heartland to strike fear into farm country. They fan out into fields and farm towns, where they secretly videotape and photograph farmers, store owners, and co-ops; infiltrate community meetings; and gather information from informants about farming activities. Farmers say that some Monsanto agents pretend to be surveyors. Others confront farmers on their land and try to pressure them to sign papers giving Monsanto access to their private records. Farmers call them the “seed police” and use words such as “Gestapo” and “Mafia” to describe their tactics.

When asked about these practices, Monsanto declined to comment specifically, other than to say that the company is simply protecting its patents. “Monsanto spends more than $2 million a day in research to identify, test, develop and bring to market innovative new seeds and technologies that benefit farmers,” Monsanto spokesman Darren Wallis wrote in an e-mailed letter to Vanity Fair. “One tool in protecting this investment is patenting our discoveries and, if necessary, legally defending those patents against those who might choose to infringe upon them.” Wallis said that, while the vast majority of farmers and seed dealers follow the licensing agreements, “a tiny fraction” do not, and that Monsanto is obligated to those who do abide by its rules to enforce its patent rights on those who “reap the benefits of the technology without paying for its use.” He said only a small number of cases ever go to trial.

Some compare Monsanto’s hard-line approach to Microsoft’s zealous efforts to protect its software from pirates. At least with Microsoft the buyer of a program can use it over and over again. But farmers who buy Monsanto’s seeds can’t even do that.

The Control of Nature
For centuries—millennia—farmers have saved seeds from season to season: they planted in the spring, harvested in the fall, then reclaimed and cleaned the seeds over the winter for re-planting the next spring. Monsanto has turned this ancient practice on its head.

Monsanto developed G.M. seeds that would resist its own herbicide, Roundup, offering farmers a convenient way to spray fields with weed killer without affecting crops. Monsanto then patented the seeds. For nearly all of its history the United States Patent and Trademark Office had refused to grant patents on seeds, viewing them as life-forms with too many variables to be patented. “It’s not like describing a widget,” says Joseph Mendelson III, the legal director of the Center for Food Safety, which has tracked Monsanto’s activities in rural America for years.

Indeed not. But in 1980 the U.S. Supreme Court, in a five-to-four decision, turned seeds into widgets, laying the groundwork for a handful of corporations to begin taking control of the world’s food supply. In its decision, the court extended patent law to cover “a live human-made microorganism.” In this case, the organism wasn’t even a seed. Rather, it was a Pseudomonas bacterium developed by a General Electric scientist to clean up oil spills. But the precedent was set, and Monsanto took advantage of it. Since the 1980s, Monsanto has become the world leader in genetic modification of seeds and has won 674 biotechnology patents, more than any other company, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture data.

Farmers who buy Monsanto’s patented Roundup Ready seeds are required to sign an agreement promising not to save the seed produced after each harvest for re-planting, or to sell the seed to other farmers. This means that farmers must buy new seed every year. Those increased sales, coupled with ballooning sales of its Roundup weed killer, have been a bonanza for Monsanto.

This radical departure from age-old practice has created turmoil in farm country. Some farmers don’t fully understand that they aren’t supposed to save Monsanto’s seeds for next year’s planting. Others do, but ignore the stipulation rather than throw away a perfectly usable product. Still others say that they don’t use Monsanto’s genetically modified seeds, but seeds have been blown into their fields by wind or deposited by birds. It’s certainly easy for G.M. seeds to get mixed in with traditional varieties when seeds are cleaned by commercial dealers for re-planting. The seeds look identical; only a laboratory analysis can show the difference. Even if a farmer doesn’t buy G.M. seeds and doesn’t want them on his land, it’s a safe bet he’ll get a visit from Monsanto’s seed police if crops grown from G.M. seeds are discovered in his fields.

Most Americans know Monsanto because of what it sells to put on our lawns— the ubiquitous weed killer Roundup. What they may not know is that the company now profoundly influences—and one day may virtually control—what we put on our tables. For most of its history Monsanto was a chemical giant, producing some of the most toxic substances ever created, residues from which have left us with some of the most polluted sites on earth. Yet in a little more than a decade, the company has sought to shed its polluted past and morph into something much different and more far-reaching—an “agricultural company” dedicated to making the world “a better place for future generations.” Still, more than one Web log claims to see similarities between Monsanto and the fictional company “U-North” in the movie Michael Clayton, an agribusiness giant accused in a multibillion-dollar lawsuit of selling an herbicide that causes cancer.

unexplained smells

a couple of days ago i was at home in our kitchen when i smelled flowers. the scent was so strong that i almost lost my breath. i swear i could even taste them! my husband said he couldn't smell anything and looked at me like i was crazy. it lasted for just a minute or two and left just as quickly as it came. there are no flowers anywhere around or in my kitchen. i know there is an old wives tale about that srt of thing but i'm not sure what it is. i even read somewhere that phantom smells are signs of medical problems. i really don't think that could be the answer either. if anyone has an opinion i would love to hear it.

The psychomantium is an ancient form of mirror gazing that has been popularized by Dr. Raymond Moody, M.D. It has its roots in the oracles of ancient Greece. This type of mirror gazing is used to contact spirits of departed loved ones.

The initial setup is a little more complex and costly than that of a scrying mirror. A large mirror (4' high by 3-1\2' wide) is attached to a wall with the bottom edge about 3' from the floor. A comfortable, high backed chair is placed about 3' from the mirror. The top of the backrest of the chair should be below the bottom of the mirror. The feet of the chair should be trimmed to allow the chair to slant farther back than is normal.

The person sitting in the chair should not be able to see his/her reflection in the mirror. The area around the chair and mirror is surrounded by a black velvet curtain. This black void should be all that is reflected in the mirror. A lamp with a 15 watt bulb is placed behind the chair. This is the only illumination in the room.

This procedure is usually performed after dark to alleviate the problem of light entering the room through the windows. Thick, dark curtains or a room without windows would allow you to use the psychomantium even during the day.

do any of you have any experience/stories regarding psychomantiums? my mom died very suddenly recently - no goodbyes - and i am having trouble coping... i don't know if this is a good idea to try or a bad idea... i am a bit cautious about setting in motion something that might have negative effects (i would never mess around with a ouija board for example)... anybody have any words of advice/wisdom?

there have been a few times in the middle of the night that i have had the same incident. i would be on my bed just trying to sleep. i swear i fet like i was wide awake. suddenly i felt really scared. it seemd like there was osme sort of presence there surrounding me. i couldnt open my eyes, i couldnt move, and i couldnt scream.i felt a dizziness trying to take over my body. i felt myself almost drifting into some kind of scary place i knew something bad would happen if i let myself go with the flow. i fought w all my strength to open my eyes and when i did i felt like my body was worn out. i got p and ran out of my room. one time i watched tv so i could relax then trie dto back into my room to sleep again as soon as i colsed my eyes they felt heavy n teh same thing happened again that night. sometimes i tell myself that if it happenes not to be scraed and go w the flow to see what happenes. maybe i will end up seeing something amazing but whenever it happenes to me i feel almost scared to death to let myself do anything. i have never felt so scared in my lif. i also feel like i cant breath when it is happening. one time it was happening to me i thought i heard my mom come into the room and try to get me up and when she was talking her voice turned into a scary sounding scream and that frightened me even more because i thought something evil ws there. it really sounded scary when i used all my strength to open my eyes, noone was there and i ran out of my room again. what does this mean?

Every night it takes me about an hour to fall asleep becase i hear poeple talking,having a party, the tv on, or just shuffling around. I see alot of things out of the corner of my eye. when im home alone i can sense things. things tend to fall or i hear something falling but nothing is there. This isnt just at my home, this is every where i go. No matter who i am with either. I have had these things happen to me since i can remeber even at my old house. My mom is convinced its nothing and im just hearing the house. Tell me. Does the house sound like its having a party in my living room when all else are asleep.??? I dont think i can talk to sprits but i will ask nicely for them to be quit so i can sleep and it stops. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!! PLEASE HELP ME!

I have had O.O.B.E.'s since I was a child. It is very easy for me to have them-pretty effortless on my part.

On 3 occasions at different times in my life (ages 13, 24, & 29) I have seen while coming out of an O.O.B.E. a black hooded figure that is crouching by the side of my bed, watching me carefully. I have never felt great evil or fear-but one time at age 24 I was a bit freaked. I asked it to please go away & it did. I always wondered if it was my guide, an angel, or some other spiritual entity. Again, I really felt no fear from any of the 3 times it has appeared to me. I am quite in tune with my spirit guides-especially my main male guide. He is a strong presence. The other 2 female guides of mine are called by my my helper guides. They are more in the background & assist my male guide. That's how I have always seen it & felt it.

The first time I saw it at age 13 I don't recall anything unusal going on in my life. At age 24 it was in February & my grandfather died that June before. I had that night a spirit communication with him during an O.O.B.E. Then as I was waking up I saw the black hooded figure at my bed. When it happened at age 29 I did not have anything going on.

Again in addressing to licensing of "psychics" the authorities have missed the point by a mile.

Innate or learned if people have such abilities and expect to be paid for them (sometimes large sums of money) then these abilities should be clearly demonstrable.

If one wants to be a Lawyer, Doctor, even a plumber the law requires that one demonstrate a level of knowledge and ability. Under the Salem ordinance it seems all that is needed is that you submit a resume and meet a residency requirement.

But then requiring that they actually be able to do what they claim would radically cut back the number of practicing "psychics" in Salem.

At least they kept the criminal background check - one of the stumbling points earlier on for the "psychics" already practicing in the city. Then again I suppose it would be hard to explain why the guy selling hot dogs to tourists needs to pass a background check while the one giving psychic advice does not.

SO, I consider myself a rather open person to anything.... any entity, any feeling, anything that would like to catch my attention. Around my area (Seattle, Wa.) the is this place, a town, called Concrete. In Concrete there is an old abandoned Concrete mill. It's an attraction for the younger, adventerous people around here. Well I've visited several times, and of course, like any old abandoned thing, it's rumored to be haunted. In large groups you don't see or here much, and I've heard some pretty crazy stories, but there is always an odd feeling down the drive way. It's in the middle of no where with a real long gravel road leading up, and then a gate with a gravel drive way. Once you are near the gate your body gets tent, your breathing gets odd, you feel nervous. Many people that have been there or I have gone with experience the exact same thing, whether they experience anything else or not. I've experience some crazy stuff there, and only at night, during the day it's a beautifully interesting place. I went there with only one other person once, instead of our usual big groups, we drove an hour and stayed 10 minutes. It was too intense. We stepped onto the concrete platform, not even entering the abandoned building, this platform is located near some woods, about 2 minutes into it we heard wild running through the woods, unexplainable whispers, randomly curious lights and other things unexplainable. We froze up, after about 10 minutes we got up the courage to run through the mysterious woods back to our car, I haven't been back since. There's more, but I go. That is some history for no, but I've had some new experiences that I'd like some help understanding.

washing machine lid

okay thought maybe this was good place to post this. We just recently moved in January to new house never felt like it was haunted or anything but since we moved in here my washing machine suddenly stops and I check it and the lid is open . My washing machine I have had for 5 years never has done that before and I called customer support and they had no idea why this could happen. It kind of creeps me out It sometime will happen several times same load Only seems to happen to me when I am home during the day.

Any one else heard of this or have an explanation??

ALTERS is a name going around some ministries who do not like to use the term DEMONS. They claim that the above mentioned problems are NOT demons living inside these people, but are ALTERS - alternate personalities. Strange that how they talk about these alters is exactly how demons work and operate through human beings.

If you are involved in this false teaching, call it what it is - demons. If you have been told you have alters, stop going to that particular ministry. There are plenty of other Deliverance ministries that would be willing to cast out your demons, in the name of Jesus. Remember that Jesus said that YOU are a Deliverance minister as long as you are a Believer.

On May 24, 2001 I heard Bob Larson teaching this ALTER stuff from a file on his website.

On May 28, 2001, THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL had an hour long program on MPD. The medical profession is using the term ALTER. They even said the human is THE HOST. That's exactly what a human body is to a demon - THE HOST. Jesus said the demons call the human body their HOUSE.

Hi everyone,

I am very new to this, but I just had an experience that has me a little nervous and scared. A few days ago, actually it was Sunday during the day, I was extremely tired from moving into my new home and I mean brand new, no one has ever lived there before. Anyways I fell asleep about 2:30pm I was in a deep sleep and suddenly I felt like someone pushed my feet to where I was in a fetal position, but on my back, I felt myself struggling and trying to pull my covers off me and whoever or whatever it was, had a hold of my feet and was telling "I have you now" I tried pulling and kicking and yelling my brother's name out twice and nothing. Shortly at about 4pm I woke up and I was a little weirded out, but ok. I didn't discuss this with anyone. So then last night I awoke at exactly 3am, I looked at my cell phone and yes it was 3am, I freaked out, I turned on lights and turned the volume up on my TV as well. I was so scared and I didn't fall back to sleep till 4:45am. Nothing happened, but I did get so scared. What is this??? I'm thinking I should go speak to a priest.

Fairy Mummy a Hoax - True Believers Still Believe its Real

I've had about 5 experiances with the old hag although I only seen her in that typical old lady form once, they are usually invisible for me but I still get paralyzed and the pressure on my chest so I can't breathe. This is truely the most terrifying thing I've ever encountered. I think it's related to O.B.E's since I had one hit my chest so hard once that I had an O.B.E. which I used to have all the time when I was little but only 3 or 4 since I was 17. Back in January after the Hornbeck reading was shown to be a complete debacle Anderson Cooper asked Sylvia Browne to provide what she thought was the best evidence of her claims.

AN EXPERAMENT YOU CAN TRY: THE EYE IS THE WINDOW TO THE SOUL

Eyes are windows to soul experience - think virtual reality. The eye is a lens which allows us to see and become consciously aware of our experiment in third dimension.

The eye has a pupil. We are pupils/students in a university experiencing consciously through the lens of time or virtual reality.

To understand that the eye is the window to the soul - there are 2 techniques you can use - alone or with one other person. Alone ... stand in front of a mirror in the dark. Shine a flashlight below your face pointing upward. Now stare at the eyes in the mirror and you shall see your image change into many people - some may not be human - all of whom are aspects of your soul experiencing in other grids. To do this with another person ... sit across from the person in a dimly lit - or dark room. Place the flashlight below your face again. This will enable the other person to see you in other lives and tell you what they see as they look through the windows of your soul. They may also see themselves in that lifetime with you. Next repeat this by looking into the other person's eyes. It is important not to move while doing this form of scrying. To truly be skilled at this - you will take the other person - or yourself - to their 'soul spark' of light. It is the flicker of light - white - blue - purple - that you sometimes see in the periphery of your field of vision - for only a second. Always remember - your experience here is just that ... a second.

Want to create or join a paranormal research group in San Francisco

I'm hoping to connect with like-minded individuals in San Francisco to explore the paranormal and spirit world. I'm a therapist who has experienced several hauntings and while in graduate school I wrote a qualitative paper about the experiences of people who've lived in places they considered haunted. I'm currently reading Jung's work on the subject (I knew he had a lifelong fascination with the paranormal, but had no idea that it was seemingly so central to his theories) and am interested in attending seances, exploratory expeditions, and/or assist true scientific research in these areas. Is anyone interested in creating such a group? Are there already local organizations of this type? Anyone doing this kind of research who could use support?

I saw the video...and i experience a peculiar set of emotions. I wasnt scared at all despite things that should have made me jump almost out of my skin. Except i found myself very sad. I found myself wondering what it would be like to be a ghost and be so alone it would drive you mad enough...to kill someone trying to help you. I know some call it a fake, but i've looked it over myself from every angle and possibility and i must say...i'm convinced.

Scents, 'feelings' just plain odd things - Please talk to me.

Hi everyone:
I have been experiencing 'odd' smells lately and all at my fiance's parent house.
Let me aslo explain that they are devout catholic people and the sight of saints REALLY bothers me.
Ok to the point: I was in his parent's kitchen and I smelled a man's colonge (his grandfather passed away last year). I was the only one there and I was alone all afternoon.
Oddly his wife (my fiance's grandma') passed away that same week.
Another time, I was going up the stairs and I fell a presence. It scared me so much I ran back downstairs.
Another time I went to the basement and freaked out as well.
I am not afraid of the darkness at my house, but anywhere else, I feel like I am being 'surrounded' and I can't explain it.
I have had 'visions' that occur always the day after and that causes me a lot of anxiety.
I know that I have some sort of connection with 'others' but How do I stop being scared?

Sabine Baring-Gould (1834-1924) was a Vicar in the Church of England in Devon, an archaeologist, folklorist, historian and a prolific author. Baring-Gould was also a bit eccentric. He reputedly taught classes with a pet bat on his shoulder. He is best known for writing the hymn 'Onward Christian Soldiers'.

This book is one of the most cited references about werewolves. The Book of the Were-Wolf takes a rationalistic approach to the subject.

The book starts off with a straightforward academic review of the literature of shape-shifting; however, starting with Chapter XI, the narrative takes a strange turn into sensationalistic 'true crime' case-studies of cannibals, grave desecrators, and blood fetishists, which have a tenuous connection with lycanthropy. This includes an extended treatment of the case of Giles de Rais, the notorious associate of Joan of Arc, who was convicted and executed for necrosadistic crimes. Margaret Murray had a controversial theory about this subject.

Nevertheless, the first ten chapters of this book constitute an essential work on the subject of werewolves. This etext was scanned at sacred-texts.

AS A KID WE LIVED IN AN OLD HOUSE IN GUNTOWN. MS.
THIS HOUSE WAS RUMERED TO HAVE BEEN THE PLACE WHERE JOHN WILKS BOOTH(ASSASIN OF LINCON) LIVED OUT HIS LIFE UNTIL OLD AGE....a MAN WAS SEEN RARELY IN A WHEEL CHAIR(REMMEBER HE JUMPED FROM THE BALCONEY)....THIS MAN WAS SAID TO HAVE BEEN HIDDEN BY HIS FAMILY MEMEBERS UNTIL ONE DAY HE DIED AND WAS BURRIED IN SECRET IN THE BAckYARD
