  I noticed it too. I think there is a healthy interest in the unexplained in that an objective study of unexplained phenomenon most often leads to a prosaic explaination including the ufos represented in the doodle. The problem with major media such as Google is that scientific and skeptical view points are not as "sexy" as woo woo viewpoints. Perhaps other skeptics like myself should contact Google to encourage a Google theme of the day that promotes skepticism.

    Absolutely. The trouble is, skepticism isn't as "sexy" as blind faith that something exists.
