I am aware that things occur for which humanity has no explanation. I am aware that humans have always applied a fantastic and colorful vocabulary towards explaining the unexplainable. I cannot deny that unexplaniable things occur. However, I know that RESEARCH is way more important than belief in a thing, especially when there is evidence the thing may hurt you. The tribe name is Paranormal RESEARCH, not "paranormal happens, therefore you must believe what I believe."

So let's pretend for a moment that I'm at a health fair, and I meet a Nice Woman who has a small stone she wants to sell me. She says that if I keep the stone under my tongue for three minutes a day, it will prevent diabetes. So I buy the stone.

One day, my friend notices the stone and asks, "What's that?" I tell him, and he realized what the stone is, says he's read an article in the paper that the Nice Woman was just arrested for credit-card fraud, and that scientists have determined that prolonged use of the stone causes kidney failure.

If you had purchased the stone, wouldn't you want to know about it?

This is a good question. Research renders the paranormal into something normal. That is, research helps us understand the unknown.

That being said, research suggests there are no spirits. Research suggests that there are things we observe and feel, but while humans take those things and want to call them spirits, those things are more than likely something else.
